Troy Ostapiw
is a former Contract Weapons Specialist trainer for the Canadian Armed forces and a
former Police Defensive Tactics Instructor for both the Saskatchewan Police
College and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) at Depot Training Academy in Regina.

Troy Ostapiw has an extensive law enforcement background and is certified as a Close
Protection Officer for Hostile Environments (PSD). Troy is a publish author on
Self- Defense and Officer Safety Tactics for Blue Line magazine.

He has traveled the world extensively learning and teaching Self Defense and Personal
Protection from some of the world most elite Instructors of Martial Arts, Self
Defense & Personal Protection. 

Troy is contracted out by Saskatchewan Justice teaching Defensive Tactics, Officer
Safety & Leadership to Law-enforcement and Civilians. 

Troy is RSDI Master Trainer.

The Canadian Head Instructor for Krav Maga Force (KMF), & 2nd Degree Blackbelt.

 Instructor Under Paul Vunak of Progressive Fighting Systems PFS in 1999.

Mr. Ostapiw received his 5th Degree Black Belt in Taijitsu from Japan in 2005.

2008 received a 5th Degree Blackbelt from Kelly Worden Natural Spirit Internation (NSI) 

1st Degree Black Belt in Modern Arnis Remmy Presas Jr. 2009

Mr. Ostapiw also currently holds Guro Teacher status under Kru Daniel Sullivan of Orange Country USA & the Philippines since 2017. 

We are a member of Warrior Arts Alliance based on the Lacoste-Inosanto Method which is
heavily influenced by Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do & MMA. 

Mr. Ostapiw also holds a purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under the legendary Master Carlos Machado 2022.

Troy Ostapiw has attained various high level Instructor status in a number of person protection systems such as Tony Blauer's (S.P.E.A.R.) system, The Worden Defense System, & The Crazy Monkey Defense System (Peek A Boo Method). Troy has taught thousands of everyday people interested in learning real functional self-defense, violence prevention, and specialized response training to companies, individuals to get them in shape and empower their every day
lives.
